That's right...my goal this year is to have everything done early, so I can enjoy Christmas eve with the fam, and sit and watch a Christmas movie, have hot cocoa, and cuddle up with the Mister and girlies on the couch.

Shabby Chic Wintry Cottage

My Mum visited this weekend & we got lots of Christmas crafting done!

This must be one of Santa's little helpers...

 

...because how many porcupines do you see wearing a Santa hat!?  

We saw him jump in this tree stump on one of our recent forest adventures (I think he was trying to hide ;-)  He may have been spying on the girls to make sure they still belonged on the 'nice list,' tee hee.

Jumping on the Bandwagon

I've had many people asking me lately what type of camera I use, so here is a way to show you (a Nikon D80).

Aaand, every one seems to have one of these shots...so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon too.

Creative Surge

I've been getting these late night 'Creative Surges' where I rummage through my supplies and just make stuff.  I don't know what I'm going to do with these, but I thought I'd give you a peek (and maybe you can conjure up some good ideas to help a sista out)... 

 

...I'm thinking magnets...maybe in a pretty tin...maybe with some fruity or fun paper!

I've been having so much fun with all the glitter and snow covered Church's, that I though I'd get out some bird houses I've had laying around and throw some paint on them.  And, of course the 'snow,' because how much fun is a summery colored bird house with snow on it...

 

...seeeeee, I LOOOOOVE the snow, oh and the shrooms, well, I don't know where they came from...

 

...so, should I a make a little winter scene out of this, add a bird, or just keep it as is...hmmm?

And this is a just a little peek of some Christmas packaging I've been doing for the shop...oh, the joy of opening up a pretty package...

 

So, anyone got ideas for these?  Boy oh boy...do I have so much more to share.  My little hands just go and my mind doesn't keep up with what I will actually do with these things, someone HEEEEEEELP, tee hee!
