The fam & I took a day trip to Hershey Park, PA over the weekend and we had such a lovely time. The weather was beautiful, not too hot...even a light
breeze at times and if you were lucky enough to get a shady seat, even
better. It wasn't that crowded either (surprising for a holiday
weekend). I got to ride one big roller coaster and only had to wait 45
minutes, which is good considering how long I've waited in the past. Most of the kiddie rides had empty seats and minute waits which was just wonderful for the girls attention span.
The best part is that we ran into some pretty neat creatures in the park, including the prettiest pink ferocious kitty cat I've ever seen...

She was waiting in the bushes as we strolled by and she pounced right on us, tee hee. We even got to take her home with us and keep her & love her forever and ever ;-)
Now, this little guy snuck up right behind me as I threw something away. He ran over and sprawled out as if he were waiting for me to drop something for him to snack on. It was crazy how close he came to me (this was taken with my little digital and not much zoom)...

Isn't he the cutest!? I would have liked to take him home with me too but there wasn't enough room for him in the truck with all the stuffed animals my girls lugged home.
Then, there was this guy...
...doesn't he look real? This was a painting inside of the 'Hershey Factory.' I was amazed at how real he looked in the picture.
And you know I had to snap a shot of this...
...just because it said 'Craft' in the title. See I'm a craft-a-holic I tell ya!
We also got to spend time with friends, eat lots of yummy treats, ride
lots of crazy rides and even got in plenty of exercise by walking up
& down big hills in the park...who could ask for more ;-) The baby
was such a trooper, didn't fuss much at all...DQ was tall enough to ride almost everything...and even the 4 year old
rode a ton of rides and loved it.
I hope you had fun frolicking with me and some of my new critter pals and that you had a wonderful Memorial day weekend too! And here's to a Big Thanks, to all of those brave people who serve and have served our beautiful country! Happy Memorial Day!
Jamie :)
