...making some new mixed media goodies for the shoppe! My inspiration comes in spurts...some weeks I'll be a crafting machine and others, not so much.
This week has been one of those crazy inspirational weeks where I've got a million ideas for the shoppe swirling in my head. Of course...it happens right in time for me to fly off to Las Vegas, where I won't have my art supplies or time to 'work!' Alas, I did get a few ideas made and in the shoppe (or going in the shoppe tonight)....
Captured Cupcake Fairy
...she was so fun to make, I'll be making more upon my return! I think they'll make great gifts too :)
Sweet Japanese Doll Gift Tags
...I just love these little cuties hand dyed with Thai Tea, yum! They just make me smile ear-to-ear :)
Vintage Orange Flower Earrings
...I found these at an antique shop and all they needed was a little shinin' up and one was missing a pearl. So I took the other one out and added swarovski crystals to both. Now they are ready to go to a vintage loving girly girl that loves her some bling ;-)
Crackle Crown Trinket & Treasure Box
...can you tell I got a new favorite stamp, tee hee!? I love this little face.
Can-Can Dancer Trinket & Treasure Box
...made with lots of gold & silver paint, a vintage page from Shakespeare's 'Macbeth,' & vintage lace.
Forest Friends Recycled Domino Magnet Set
Now, I must be off to pack, but I hope you like the new goods ;-) I think I'll be making some trinket boxes as gifts this Christmas (I can't believe I'm thinking that far ahead)...and magnet sets for that matter, tee hee. I'd love to do a custom order and give a bulk discount too so let me know what you're interested in.
I've already got an order for Christmas cards from my good pal Roo, yay! But still, I can't believe I'm thinking that far ahead! So unlike me ;-)
Actually, I've been thinking of doing a 'Holiday Club,' where you pay one price for the year & a couple weeks before every holiday, I'll mail however many cards (& gift tags where appropriate) to you. What do you think about that?
Hope everyone has a nice end of the week & weekend as I probably won't get to do much blog hopping while in Vegas Baby! But If I can, I will post random pictures of my adventure in my down time...won't that be fun!? Maybe I'll even come up with a little bloggy game on my flight over...but we'll see...good time people, good time, woooooo wheeeee ;-)

That captured cupcake fairy is too too sweet! And i am going to snarf up the japanese dolls and the can can dancer, as i can always use more girl power in my house full o'boys! (Thai tea even, and love the little pins in the one in the middle's hair-you think of everything dont you? )
