This may be the longest bloggy break I've taken, oh my...I've missed you all very much, but it has flown by! I really took my Mac to Vegas, totally planning on blogging some photos of my adventure, but as you can see...that didn't happen.
I packed my big camera and was very quickly talked out of taking it as I was leaving to go to the airport by threats of...'What if you lose it,' 'What if it breaks,' 'Are you really going to carry that around the casino's and to nice dinners,' etc. The answer to all was, 'I might cry and never forgive myself,' so...I only got a few good shots with the point-and-shoot...
...and many that you can't see of course, tee hee ;-) Remember, 'what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,' as I was reminded so many times. We had such a great time wining and dining and gambling and hanging with friends...the time just goes so fast out there (not to mention we barely slept and didn't get tired). But that's part of the fun!
We ate at The Palm which was amazing, Wolfgang Puck's (always a Vegas fav), & a new one for us called Fix at Bellagio, which was so chill and de-lish! I got the scallops and the fried mac and cheese was to-die-for. Last time we were in Vegas, we went to another Wolfgang restaurant, Spago but we didn't get a a chance to go this time. It is another yummy one. I tell ya, If I could just eat the whole time that would be wonderful...but it's the funniest thing when I'm out there, I'm never hungry but always thirsty and never tired...It's true what they say!
...this guy was part of the exterior decor of 'House of Blues,' and I just thought he was the coolest ever. The whole restaurant exterior was made from recycled things, like bottle caps, license plates, old locks, and such...it was amazing!
And believe it or not, I actually felt a bit of inspiration when I saw some novelty poker chips and had to snag em' up. This pendant is just in the shoppe...
Now, I need to get to packaging items and catching up around the blogoshpere...I think I'm having withdrawals ;-) Oh, & I'm almost done reading 'Twilight,' so I can finally start on 'New Moon.' I know...I'm sooo far behind. My goal is to get it done before the movie comes out in November, because you know I'll be there opening day. It's a sad world I tell ya, tee hee. I watched the movie AGAIN last night, whew weeeee!
Jamie :)
p.s. don't forget about my StampinMom shoppe closing sale...more discounts to come soon.

cool! although...i never have a desire to go there..lol..dunno why..but i just like mountains and peace..lol!
Glad you had fun!!

Oh Jamie Woo I missed you so too! But it was worth the wait for pix like that! The boyz think that's where our next "family vakay" should be-seems they are a little bored with the beach resort scene :p And Cowboy nearly drooled in his coffee when i showed him the house of blues pic-with your most incredible point-and shoot-camera! Wowie! I will either have to get a better camera or take lessons from you (or maybe i could just invite ya'll to our 4th of July shindig next year and you could take pix! Yeah, that'll work, hee)
That inspiration bling is awesome! And, my sister is getting married in Vegas, so I think I'll send her one just for fun :)
Welcome home and so glad you had fun!!

PS I heard one time that in Vegas they pump oxygen through the AC vents to help keep you from getting sleepy.. hmmmm ☺

All hail the mighty Luxor!
I always leave the big camera behind and I always kick myself. Never again... I bought a super backpack for it yesterday and the laptop and big camera will go with me on every vacation now...starting Saturday.
