...a beautiful arrangement of gorgeous flowers, including Lily's...one of my favorite flowers ever! Not so much a birthday gift, but a nice token of appreciation from great friends. Thank you J, M & La, you guys are the best! The smell is just a sweet breath of fresh air. I'm sitting here smelling them now, with the windows open and a nice breeze blowing. It's the perfect day!
If, there could be a better day than my birthday of course, because it was WONDERFUL! The girls let me sleep in a bit, although the baby wasn't having that
for tooooo long, tee hee. By the time I got down stairs, they had handmade a bunch of decorations and hung them all over the kitchen and sun-room...
Who cares that there was tape ALL OVER THE WALLS! And instead of taping the H-A-P-P-Y B-I-R-T-H-D-A-Y banner together and then hanging it, they taped each individual letter...
Then, they had several cereal boxes out on the table for me to choose, the bowls, spoons, milk was out and the juice was even poured. And they had written several notes and left them around the house for me to find my gift...a little scavenger hunt if you will...
...and I may have not really understood them, but they were nice about helping me out ;-) So I finally found it hiding behind the television...
...don't you just love the Christmas wrap, hehe? Thanks honey, I know you were behind that one! The girls were extra good too, making sure not to bicker and got along really well the rest of the day. Until Daddio took me to dinner at Texas de Brazil, yum! Then we met some friends for drinks at Sweetwater Tavern...who happens to have my most favorite raspberry swirl margarita ever (with sugar on top, mmmm)!
Then, he was going to order me a couple of Stampington & Co. publications, but instead took me to the Apple store and got me Photoshop Elements & some other goodies, yay! But that leads me to tell you...sorry, I haven't been making too many bloggy rounds this weekend. We got the new Mac Snow Leopard upgrade & I installed it and the other programs all in one night, then for some reason have been having trouble editing photos and loading them to Typepad. So I've been trying to get that fixed :( I actually had to do this post on another computer. So I'll visit sooooon, okay!
Oh, & I meant to tell you about our featured Etsyblogger earlier this week...but it flew by fast! So without further ado...meet Edi. She runs Memories for Life Scrapbooks has some cute pre-made albums in her shoppe too. My fav is this flip-flop scrapbook album...
Thank you all for the Birthday wishes, it was the best...I feel like the luckiest girl alive, to have such great friends and family and sweet girls who take such good care of their mama, tee hee.
Happy Monday, hope you had a great weekend too.
Jamie :)

Happy belated birthday -- it looks like you had a truly wonderful celebration! I can't wait till my girls are old enough to conspire birthday fun for me and their daddy... Right now my 2 1/2-year-old is obsessed with birthdays, and hers isn't until January! I hope her expectations don't run too high!

Happy Birthday! Belated! Your birthday post says it all about the difference between girls and boys! Can we trade for my birthday next year? Come on over and see what a birthday is like when your house feels like a boys' home. Thanks for a peer into what life is like with daughters:)
