Spring break is over!?! I feel like it just blew by so fast! That's a sign of a good time :)
I took my girls to see The Natural Bridge, go down in the caverns, and see the falls...all so amazing & the hike is beautiful...

Then we went to Philadelphia for a few days and baby fell in love with this Galimoto we found at a fair trade shop. There was no way we were leaving without it! She walked it around town...

We ate lots of good food from this really cool market...

If we lived in Philly, this is where I would buy all my fresh fruits, veggies, meat, eggs and so much more...straight from the farm! Fun, but very busy.
This sign was at a diner in the market we ate breakfast at...

We got a shirt for baby girl that says 'I love Bacon,' hahahah. She claims her two favorite foods are butter and bacon. I'm not proud of that, but ya have to admit, ya can't go wrong with butter or bacon ;) You can even make maple glazed bacon donuts (we found these in Middleburg while antiquing over the weekend). I never thought I'd veto anything with bacon on it, but I just couldn't do it...

On the other hand, I could do this...

What better thing to do in Philly than make your first event a cheesesteak contest!? Right when we rolled into town, we got one from each, Geno's and Pat's. Sorry Pat, but Geno wins...hands down!
We thought the girls would love the Please Touch Museum, but it turns out it really is meant for the younger ones. Our little one had fun, because she's not quite 4 yet, but the 7 & 11 year old...not so much, they were bored. And after paying 80 bucks for all of us to get in, I was not pleased. Oh well. I did get to meet this adorable drunk looking gnome that was on this elephant made all of old toys, which was a really neat thing...

And they did, however, like the Alice in Wonderland stuff...

We also hit up the Melting Pot, because who doesn't love cheese & chocolate for dinner!? The veggies you see here, was my attempt at eating something healthy...

I'm pretty sure the Rocky statue and running up the 'Rocky Stairs' at the Museum of Art is a must when visiting Philly...

So, there ya go...just some tid-bits from our Spring Break!
Have you ever been to Philadelphia? What did you enjoy doing there? When we visit again, I'll need some fresh ideas ;)
Have you ever had a bacon donut? Geno's or Pat's? Please...do tell.
Jamie :)
