Those Hungry Hippos

I used to love 'Hungry Hippos' when I was younger!  And it seems my girls do too...

When they opened this from my Me-Maw & Grandpa over the weekend...it was so sweet to see their eyes light up in excitement!  So, we played...and played...and played both versions many many times...

 

 

As a matter of fact...we've been on a game kick ever since.  The pre-schooler whooped me in 'Trouble,' Hungry Hippos,' and 'Go Fish' all just today.  

What is your or your children's favorite game?

I think I'm worn out...but I've got lots of Christmas gifts yet to make...so I'm off to do that.

Oh, and I made another 'Diaper Cake' over the weekend for my brother's wife's baby shower.  I'm going to try and put together a little tutorial for ya this week.  They are so fun and simple to make and always make a cute shower gift or center piece.

When I saw little, my favorites were Candy Land (of course!) and Operation. I also played with Simon constantly. Today, my favorites are Scrabble and Monopoly (both of which I always win when playing against my hubby!). Theresa

My son loves Hungry Hungry Hippos too! I have to play Go-Fish with him every night it seems....Maybe that's why I can't get the laundry done...tee-hee.... I also play Sorry & Spider Man Operation with him & he is a big Checkers fanatic...I kind of let him win since he is still too young to realize that I am doing that...but I love to see his face when he wins! LOL

We loved Hungry, Hungry Hippos!! When my kids were younger I could not find this game. It has made a comeback. Maybe we're not too old to give it a try.

OMG, I completely forgot how much I loved that game. I never had it but a friend did and I always wanted to play it, it drove the friend crazy. :) Oh the wonders of childhood memories!

What fun games!! We don't have any of those, but may just have to get one or two to play over Christmas!! I used to love them, and I bet we would all love playing it together!! :)
