"We say that a girl with her doll anticipates the mother. It is more true, perhaps, that most mothers are still but children with playthings."
~ F.H. Bradley
I know right...Is that sad!? That I have fallen for three little wooden girls, tee hee? When I saw them at 'The Old Lucketts Store' the other day, I HAD to have them!
I wondered if I could live with one...but I decided I couldn't. I have three girls, so I must have three dolls so they can each play with one (or so I could play with all three myself ;)
So, as promised, this is a photo of the girls having a grand ol' time at the park. They went on a big adventure that I will be sharing with you this week. Who knew little vintage girls were so daring...standing on the tip-top of the play-set?
Hope you are having a grand weekend too...
Jamie :)
They are enchanting. I am glad you didn't turn your back on them! : )

Sweet! I did the same thing with a set of vintage blocks this last week. I really wanted them but could only justify buying one (12.99) So as I stood to pay at the register, the owner said, "oh, this price is for all of them." YEEPEE I got to bring home a pile of perfectly vintage baby blocks. :)

Hi Jamie, the weekend turned out to be quite lovely. Much better than I had thought it would be. Life goes on, and we must all look forward to a beautiful tomorrow. Good things ALWAYS lie ahead. :)
Your dollies are so very cute; I am happy that they had a most excellent adventure!

Your daughter who plays with the red vintage doll is very lucky. It's the prettiest of the three! It's like Little Red Riding Hood meets Audrey Hepburn. LOL! Is the middle doll supposed to be Amelia Earhart?
