I was out with my girlfriends last night, have a grand ol' time...when I got a text from my hubs saying we didn't get our house :( Our dream house!
We were outbid...AGAIN! This is the second house (same model, same street) that we have put an offer on and been outbid, ugh. Such an emotional roller coaster ride this is.
I was bummed, but I didn't let that ruin my night out! Then, I get home and start looking over pictures from the weekend, and I see this...
...hahahahah! Then, my night was all better ;)
Our sweet baby girl, rode all the way home from big sissies birthday party like this. She kept saying, 'Mama, Mama, Maaaamaaaa.' It was dark and I didn't think anything of it because I hear that aaaall day long, tee hee. But, when we got home and I turned around...she was giggling because she thought it was hilarious (after we all started cracking up at how cute she was).
So...moral to the story? We might have not gotten our dream house...AGAIN (did I mention that?), but I know this house stuff is all going to work out. Yes, yes...I'm another firm believer in 'Everything happens for a reason.'
But, we have our health, a wonderful family, our friends...and that makes me happy! Whether we live in our 'Dream house,' or not ;)
Jamie :)
Sorry to hear about the house. It is so true that things do work out for a reason even when we don't understand. Your little one looks too cute.

Sorry to hear about the house-you are right, though...things will work out in the end. Little giggles and the bluest eyes I've seen in awhile can really help put things into perspective. :) Keep your chin up!

Jamie,
I also believe that everything happens for a reason. You will find the home of your dreams! It will happen when you least expect it and....it will so much MORE than you could have EVER imagined.
Love and Blessings,
Dena
