My girls got a ton of Perler beads for Christmas and it has been all the rage in our home! So I thought I'd share with you a few we've made for Valentine's day...
They love them so much, that they can't confine them to the studio...apparently ;) Because I find them ALL OVER THE HOUSE!! I'm constantly stepping on them and finding those cute little colorful beads in every nook & cranny. But, it's a small price to pay for my girls crafty happiness, tee hee.
So tell me...what is yours or your kiddos favorite crafty item right now?

We love perler beads, too. We made a couple pokeballs and hung them from my son's lunch bag. I also helped him make a turtwig.

My little sweet child/tax write-off has been watching me bead for a few years & has begged & begged for a few years to help me make jewelry! (ha-ha) So I finally gave in & purchased plastic pony beads for him to dabble with. Wow! Let me tell you, I never thought a bracelet could fit my head as a crown-lol! I have constantly asked for him to pick them up from the floor, under the bed, from under the dog's bed, from the closet floor, from under the dinner table, out of my car (don't ask how these got there), & finally from the crook's of the couch! I told him that the vacumm cleaner got most of them already & that if he would like to keep his collection full, he had better pick them up soon (before the next round of vacumming came). Let's just say, Jake doesn't bead anymore ;).

Those are everywhere in our house. I love em and hate em... but the fact that the kids will make them for hours has it's advantages. :)
BTW, I love the Japanese tags I got from your store! They are perfect!

How cute! A very crafty family~I like that. In addition to all the jewelry, I've been (trying!) to work on a painting for the first time in a few years. Have the background prepped, so now I just have to get the actual image on now! LOL Theresa

I remember those! So much fun, what a different world you live in with girly things. My boys are actually very artistic and their favorite craft we ever did was make miniature kites. I use paper,a skewer, and ribbon. All we did was tape the skewer on the paper kite form like the skeleton of a kite and then added the ribbon as a tail. My kids play with their kites for hours. A heaven sent idea! It helped me at least fold half the laundry. :)
