My Mum & I have gotten into needle felting lately (I'll have to show you what I've been working on in another post). She surprised the recent birthday girl with this mermaid...
Isn't she the sweetest!?!
I'm learning that needle felting is a dangerous craft! Luckily I haven't put any holes in my body yet ;) But I'm finding it quite relaxing too...kinda like knitting, but you definitely don't want to do this while watching tv.

I've also recently invested in a kit from Etsy to learn but my order was shipped this week without any needles... oops! I'm going to have to wait another couple of weeks to get them, but it's nice to be inspired in the meantime :).
