Our baby puppy is growing up! Where does the time go? Ha, I swear...I feel like the girls are growing up too fast, Roscoe is growing too fast (he'll be 4 this month), and I'M growing up too fast, tee hee ;) Yes, I'll be hitting a milestone this year also, and I'm not so sure how I feel about that, but I'll be sure to let you know as soon as I decide ;)
We just got in from taking the boy on a leisurely walk on this beautiful spring day.
Now, that we don't have 3 foot of snow on the ground, I can't get away with telling him 'be right back,' when we go to the bus-stop. He just looks at me with those sad puppy eyes that say, 'Mama pweeease take me with you.'
And of course I'm a sucker...even though stopping the stroller and putting my foot on the leash every time we pass another dog is very annoying (he's such a friendly dog but there's something about being on leash and other dogs that gets him in a tizzy), I still do it. Because he's just that cute ;) I think if he could talk, he would totally sound like Eeyore...doesn't he look like an Eeyore?
I must run...I'm being summoned to a game of tag at the park and some errands before a much needed studio session a bit later. I'm starting to get those ideas swirling around my noggin' again, yippee!
Hope you are having a lovely day too.
Jamie :)
haha we have a boxer too- he roams back and forth between our house and my parents (we live next door) Boxer puppies are so stinking cute! Our Sampson is now 8 years old I think- bought him up near Ferrum our senior year.

All boxers are Eeyores. I think they have to be. Hehe.
And i'm so glad you're getting out in the weather. It's lovely!
And yes, i'm reading The Lovely Bones. Over half-way thru it and it's getting good!

He's a handsome boy, for sure. They grow out of puppyhood too quickly. Our sweet mutt was supposed to be a 'beagle mix' when he came to us as a pup 5 years ago, with his pretty red coat and apple-shaped head. Now he is close to 100 pounds. Mama was a beagle, but the unknown Papa must have been something BIG!
