I wanted to share with you, the treasures I found at Luckett's Spring Market last weekend...
Oh me...I was in heaven with this Rachel Ashwell fabric...
...now, what to make with it, hmmm?
And these vintage sewing notions, I just couldn't resist...
This apron is going to look so cute in our new kitchen (there were so many to chose from but I was really good and only got one)...
And this deer...I actually got at a local antique shop the 2nd time I saw it! The girls and I really wanted it the first time, but didn't 'need' it, so I talked myself out of it, tee hee. But when it was still there when I went back 2 weeks later, I knew it was meant to be ;)
I also met Miss Mustard Seed and she told me about Luckett's Fair on August 28th & 29th. Even though that's my birthday weekend and I'm supposed to be going to gamble in West Virginia...I think I may have to change my plans ;)
I've never actually sold my creations at a craft show before, but I think it'd be fun! Is anyone planning on going, or better yet, participating? Or have you done a show before and have any tips for a newbie?
Big hugs,
Jamie :)
What great finds! I've never sold at a craft show before, so unfortunately I don't have any tips for you. With all the cute goodies you have, I'm sure you'll do well no matter what. Enjoy your Sunday! Theresa

You always find such great stuff. Wish I could go shopping with you.
And yes, you should absolutely sell your stuff at the craft show. You'll be a big hit.

I love your finds! Awesome stuff! I have done a bizzillion craft shows & I have actually thought about writing a book about it! lol It is so neat to meet new vendors & network with them! Bring sunblock & lots water! Perhaps a tent or beach umbrella as well. Oh...don't forget to bring change! I always bring $50 worth in small bills, that amount has always worked well with me for all of the shows I have done. Good luck & remember to bring snacks & introduce yourself to your neighbor (hint: she can watch your booth when you have to go potty...and vice versa) Good luck love!

Awesome Linda, thanks for all the tips! How many of each item do you usually take? Id like to be your craft booth neighbor, tee hee ;)
