Well, we're here, in 'Sunny' San Diego!
Wait...where's the sun?
I think it's all over on the East coast where they are having almost 100 degree weather. It's in the 60's here, but we're still having a blast!
Having a blast, even though this may be one of the few pictures I can share with you on this trip...
...considering I decided to somehow shatter the lens of our camera on our outing to La Jolla yesterday :( Luckily, the warranty is still in effect and it can be fixed (even if it takes a few weeks). Boo hoo!
Like any photographer knows, our camera's are like an appendage...so I'm feeling a bit 'naked.' But, my iphone takes decent pictures if I'm really close to something, tee hee.
On a fun note, I'll be meeting up with Julie in 'the land of lost luggage,' for drinks, lunch, and some shopping! Hopefully, her 'lost luggage' doesn't rub off on me on our trip home ;)
And on a sappy note, I'm feeling so weird...to not have anything or anyone to take care of. The Mister is busy working, the girls are across the United States in good hands with family, the dog is being spoiled, I have no plants to water, the house is being taken care of (and that doesn't require me cleaning it), and I can't do too much work from here...it just feels so different.
But it's nice...to get away and relax a bit...to sit on the cottage patio and look out onto the Bay all by myself. But I wouldn't change my life for the world! I love my girls always needing something, I love putting extra food on my plate because I know someone will be nibbling on it with me, I love the dog following me around the house and pestering me to play with him, and I love getting woken up in the middle of the night because someone had a bad dream...and the list goes on.
Well, enough of all that mess...I need to go enjoy it while I can ;)
Oh and I meant to tell ya, I'll be doing a wee little 'CHRISTMAS IN JULY' Sale starting tomorrow! Some items in the Shop will be on sale and I'll be adding some Christmas ornaments, gift tags, whimsical trinket boxes, and even a shabby chic stocking...so stock up and start your Christmas preparations early this year.
Jamie :)
So glad to hear you're on vacation where you can kick your feet up and relax. San Diego is beautiful! Enjoy!

I WAS JUST SAYING TODAY that I need to start buying a few Christmas things a month in order to be ready to have our new "rainbow colors" handmade tree ready by December:)
You read my mind.
I'll be stopping by FIRST THING :D
