Funky DIY Patio & a 'It's my B-I-G Birthday Discount!'

Here is a peek at our new patio (but your going to have to hold a minute to see the rest, while I freak out a bit)...

Yep, freak out, because this is the B-I-G 3-0 *cough*cough* I think I need a paper bag...someone get me a paper bag please ;) 

Seriously I don't know why I feel like I'm going to hyperventilate when I think about it.  I mean, sheeesh...I'm already happily married with 3 children, a dog, a nice house...blah, blah, blah!  I FEEL waaaay over 30 so I don't know why the number is freaking me out.  I've NEVER had a problem with my age before.  Not that I have a PROBLEM with it now...I I think my mind is just playing with me, and I'm feeling weird stepping into the next decade of my life.  And they say you don't start living until your 40, right...so I've got some time to gear up for that one ;)

Now, on with the good stuff :)  We've been working on a little project this week.  An attempt to brighten up our new patio.  You all know how I love me some bright colors (you couldn't tell, could you?) 

I'll let the pictures do the talking...

Now I will say, my husband helped pick out the colors.  I was leaning toward the pink and aqua combo (my fav :) but we decided on these and I think it works...

The kids actually helped with the Adirondack chairs too, with much supervision and assistance, tee hee (completely forgot to take before pictures, but they were white)...

Now, we just need a patio dining set and some plants for those pots!

Or, maybe some cupcakes with these 'Too Glittery and Cute to be Spooky' toppers in them, to go on that dining set...

 

...just made them today and popped them in the shop here...
