Caught your eye with that, didn't I? Oh how I wish it was mine...I very briefly thought about it ;)
But decided I really didn't have a place for it unless I got rid of some furniture in the parlor...and didn't know if my man would be on board with having a bright pink couch sitting right inside the front door.
But, I did get this handmade felted wool rug from Luckett's Store though...
(I just realized that this is the same rug that I mentioned and had taken a picture of from September's Design house).
This is a picture I took with my iphone and sent to him...he loved it! And now it's ours. Our pup loves it too and snuggles with it daily (when mommy isn't available of course).
My mission for this furniture excursion last month wasn't to get a rug though, it was to get a Farm table, and I was so dissapointed when I didn't find one. But thank goodness I decided to stop over at the Beekeeper's Cottage...
Because sure enough, they were selling this reclaimed wood farm table...oooh la la...
...I fell in love...it was PERFECT! It was significantly more than what we wanted to spend, but well worth it considering it was reclaimed wood...and the owner even gave me a discount (thank you again ;)
It fits perfectly in our home and now the 'baby' doesn't have a high chair anymore...she is with us at the table and thrilled about it (although I'm not thrilled about her getting up when she feels she is done ;)
On my way home one day, I passed a local consignment shop & saw this chair out of the corner of my eye...
I whipped it around, walked in and said, 'I want that chair!' And it was mine (thanks to my Mum and the money she had given me for my birthday). So now it sits on the patio with our painted Adirondack chairs!
So, our home is becoming all cozy with the things that we love and it's a fun process. I'll have to share photos of our home sometime soon.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend,
Jamie :)
Oh! Oh! Jamie! There was one time on EBay when i was bidding on the EXACT pink color highback wing chairs! Until, the Lost Boys got a gander at what I was bidding on and said NO WAY..and Cowboy seconded the motion and that was that. {sigh}
I still dream about those chairs..but i do it in a giant chocolate brown velvet wingback chair that is snuggly yummylicious, so it was all in all, ok.
LOVE YOUR TABLE!!!!I am all over reclaimed...and the rug looks like I sweater i wear, LOL! wonder if they are cousins!
Happy days to you, Jamie Woo~

I love the sofa! My love wouldn't agree on it unless I put it in my craft room.
Love the rug too! (:
