Bits of Summer

I can't believe it's August. There are only a few short weeks left, for the kiddos to enjoy summer. It's exciting...but a little of a bummer at the same time. I feel like they just got out of school, like yesterday! I know everyone always says this, but time really does fly!

We have a little girl that's thrilled to be able to get on 'the big cheese' for the first time. We're going to have a 7th grader, a 3rd grader and a Kindergardner this year...with only the baby left at home. Boo!

Thought I'd share just a few bits of our summer, before it's gone:

We've been having fun with our little garden this summer (that girls got a green thumb, I tell ya)...

my Mum and I making zuchinni pie with a variety of fresh ones from her garden...

science experiments...

geocaching...

fresh donuts...

yep, the summer feels a little more complete after having fresh donuts ;)
