Formal Introductions of the Vintage Girls

Remember these girls?

Well, they are finally ready to be properly introduced!

Meet, Candy Cakes (in the red)...

She loves to play dress-up and will wear anything frilly and frou-frou!  As a matter of fact, her passion is sewing, so she makes most of her clothes...whether it be completely handmade or a re-purposed shirt, for example.  Her favorite fabric designer right now is Amy Butler.

Candy Cakes may look all precious on the outside but she can hold her own, if she needs to ;)  And she loves to hike, camp and be outdoors (and sometimes she'll even do it with her pumps, frills and smile on).

Then there's Ida May...princess of the vintage dolls...

...she thinks she's the sweetest thing ever (and she is of course ;)  She is very girly, never leaves the house without her signature red lipstick and mascara on, and always has flowers in her hair!  Ida May is a free-spirited artsy girl who's favorite thing to do right now it paint and shop for handmade items on Etsy. 

She too, is a nature lover and very environmentally conscious.  She loooooves all animals and likes to spend much of her time volunteering to help people and the earth.

Finally, here's Lou Lou...

She's an accessory girl...belts, hats, buttons, brooches...if it can pretty up an outfit, you can bet that Lou will be the first to have it!  She loves making things and has too many craft supplies than she knows what to do with!

She may look a little tough on the outside, but don't let that fool ya...she is a delicate flower on the inside ;)  She loves babies, tending to her garden...and when she needs to relax, she sips on some green tea while reading the latest Artful Blogging.

These girls are whimsical, quirky, and a blast to be around!  They've already been on a few fabulous adventures and they can't wait to share them with you! 

They also love to share and feature their favorite handmade items or whatever it is inspiring them at any given time (and they'd love for you to share yours too ;)

These Vintage Dolls Stole my Heart

I know right...Is that sad!?  That I have fallen for three little wooden girls, tee hee?  When I saw them at 'The Old Lucketts Store' the other day, I HAD to have them!  

I wondered if I could live with one...but I decided I couldn't.  I have three girls, so I must have three dolls so they can each play with one (or so I could play with all three myself ;)

So, as promised, this is a photo of the girls having a grand ol' time at the park.  They went on a big adventure that I will be sharing with you this week.  Who knew little vintage girls were so daring...standing on the tip-top of the play-set?
